     Everyone seems to think there’s too much sex and violence. Think about it. Sex. Violence. Are those even remotely related?
     Sex at its best is the source of human continuance, as well as the fountainhead of sensuality, pleasure, and emotion. Violence at its best— or rather, worst— is the destroyer of all of the above and often represents the abyss of human emotion.
     So why are they used in the same breath. Carrying that logic to other institutions, the following statements should all make sense—
     All of us are entitled to as much sex and violence as we want.
     All of us should be able to afford a house and watch it blow away in a tornado.
     All of us should be able to buy a sports car and get maimed in an accident.
     All of us are entitled to health care and death.
     All of us, no matter our race, are entitled to the best education and slavery.
     All of us, no matter our sexual persuasion, are entitled to marriage and prison.
     All of us, no matter what we puff or otherwise ingest into our bodies, are entitled to as much of it as we want and credit for time served.
     Every church should have the right to post the Ten Commandments and the Atheists Manifesto.
     Every freethinkers society should have the right to post the Atheists Manifesto and the Ten Commandments.
     Every hotel room should have a copy of the Bible and The Story of O.
     Every hotel room should have a copy of The Story of O and the Bible.
